Iranian Foreign Ministry issues statement in condemnation of Kerman terror attacks

Iranian Foreign Ministry   strongly condemns the heinous and cowardly act of terrorism in the city of Kerman---the birthplace of Lieutenant General Haj Qassem Soleimani and the place of his burial, the national and international champion of fighting terrorism--- that led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of our dear Iranian citizens.

 This terrorist crime shows the highest level of the wickedness and meanness of the Iranian nation’s enemies as well as their resorting to criminal methods in the false hope of getting out of their self-made crisis in which they are stuck.

 Undoubtedly, resorting to such vicious crimes against Iranian citizens, men, women and children strengthens the intelligent and strong Iranian people’s love of the cause of martyr General Qassem Soleimani.

This also will bolster solidarity and cohesion among the brave people of Iran and will deepen their enmity and hatred for the well-known enemies of Islamic Iran.

 Obviously, the Iranian Foreign Ministry will work with other relevant bodies in the country to use all the existing political, legal and international possibilities to get this hateful terrorist attack condemned worldwide and to go after its perpetrators.

 The officials of the sacred  establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Foreign Ministry offer their condolences to the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, the noble people of Iran, and especially the bereaved families of those martyred in this terrorist act.

They also hope that the martyrs will be given a lofty place beside the martyred hero and soldier of the country and pray for the injured to swiftly recover.
